Hi, I’m Sean, the owner and operator of Keycraft Locksmith. With 8+ years of hands-on experience in automotive locksmithing, I created Keycraft to be the kind of modern, friendly, and trustworthy locksmith service I would want to call myself.
Why KeyCraft
I started KeyCraft because I saw too many technicians in this industry who were unfriendly, impatient, or willing to take advantage of people in stressful situations. I’m a warm soul who genuinely loves the technical problem-solving side of this work and cares about treating every customer with kindness and respect.
My Story:
Before locksmithing, I graduated from UC Davis and worked as a freelance animator. I moved to Seattle, where I got into the locksmith industry through a family business and quickly fell in love with the problem-solving aspect of the craft. A few years later I moved back to the Sacramento area and decided it was time to build something better.

I bring the same focus, creativity, and attention to detail from my design background into every job I do. Whether it’s cutting and programming a complex key or helping someone who’s locked out late at night, I aim to make the experience as smooth, friendly, and stress-free as possible.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me making music, cooking, creating art, playing with my dog, or enjoying time outdoors.
